Mungo Brush Campground, nestled between the river and the beach near Hawks Nest, offers 77 campsites suitable for tents, camper trailers, and caravans. The campground provides picnic tables, barbecue facilities, a boat ramp, and toilets. Visitors can enjoy activities such as kayaking, canoeing, swimming, and bushwalking. The Mungo Rainforest Walk, a 1.5 km loop, begins at the campground, leading through rare coastal rainforest. A short walk from the campground leads to the beach, where you can go swimming, fishing, and sailboarding. If you're clever enough to catch a fish, you can cook it up for dinner on one of the barbecues in the campground.
