Nestled in the picturesque Huon Valley, Mountain River Hall serves as a vibrant community hub for the Mountain River, Grove, and Crabtree areas. Established in 1969 to replace the original hall lost in the 1967 bushfires, it offers a spacious venue ideal for bush dances, community gatherings, and various events. The hall features a fully equipped kitchen, disability access, and a small playground, making it suitable for weddings, art and craft groups, exercise classes, and group gatherings. Managed by a dedicated volunteer committee, the hall continues to be a focal point for local activities and social events.
