Mount Trio

Mount Trio features three distinct peaks connected by a plateau, offering a moderately challenging 3.5-kilometer return hike with a 400-meter ascent. The trail begins with a steep climb, leading to a saddle between the north and east peaks, followed by a gentler path to the highest summit at 856 meters. Hikers are rewarded with panoramic views of Mount Toolbrunup and the surrounding mountains. The area is renowned for its vibrant wildflower displays, including the endemic mountain bell, especially during spring and early summer. The journey starts and ends at a shaded picnic area, providing a pleasant spot to relax after the hike.
