Mount Roland, standing at 1,233 meters, is the highest peak in the Mount Roland Regional Reserve, offering accessible bushwalking experiences. The track begins with a gentle incline through eucalypt woodlands, becoming steeper as it reaches the plateau, which opens into buttongrass plains and heathlands. After approximately 15 minutes on the plateau, a platform with a table and bench seats provides panoramic views. Continuing, the track involves walking over loose rocks and a final boulder scramble to the summit, rewarding hikers with breathtaking 360-degree vistas of the surrounding landscape.
