Mount Magnificent Conservation Park, located approximately 58 kilometers south of Adelaide, spans 90 hectares of untouched land. The park's summit rises 380 meters above sea level, offering panoramic views of the southern coast, Lakes Alexandrina and Albert, and the Coorong. The diverse vegetation includes open forests of Messmate Stringybark, Brown Stringybark, Pink Gum, and Cup Gum, with understorey plants like Yacca, Golden Wattle, Myrtle Wattle, Desert Banksia, and Large-leaf Pea Bush. The park is home to 91 bird species, including the White-throated Treecreeper, Superb Fairywren, New Holland Honeyeater, Striated Thornbill, and Australian Magpie. The Heysen Trail traverses the park, providing access to its natural beauty.
