Mount Budawang trail

Embark on a challenging 8km return hike through Budawang National Park's diverse landscapes, including grassy woodlands, wet gullies, and montane forests. The steep 430m ascent rewards hikers with panoramic 360-degree views from the summit, encompassing the Budawang Range, Durras Mountain, the NSW coast, and the Clyde River valley. Along the trail, observe the rare Budawang wallaby grass and spot crescent honeyeaters and olive whistlers. This Grade 4 track is best suited for experienced bushwalkers prepared for a strenuous journey. Ensure you carry sufficient water, a map, and be aware of unpredictable weather conditions.
