Mount Beauty Gorge Walk

The Mount Beauty Gorge Walk is a 2.8 km return trail that follows the west branch of the Kiewa River, offering scenic views and opportunities for swimming. Starting at the Big Hill Mountain Bike Park on Bogong High Plains Road, the path includes a swing bridge over the river and leads to a canyon accessible by wading upstream. The trail is well-marked and features some obstacles, short steep hills, and occasional steps. It's advisable to check water levels before entering the river, as conditions can change unexpectedly.
