Located in the historic 1927 Masonic Lodge at 12 Hazelwood Road, Morwell, the Morwell Historical Society is dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich heritage of Morwell and its surrounding districts. Established in 1962, the society offers a comprehensive collection of local history, including photographs, documents, and artifacts. Their research room and library are open on the first and third Wednesdays and the last Sunday of each month, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, from February to November. Membership provides access to resources, participation in events, and the opportunity to contribute to the society's ongoing preservation efforts.
