Officially opened on Armistice Day, 11 November 1927, the hall features a timber frame with weatherboard cladding and an iron roof, encompassing a main hall and a lower hall suitable for meetings. The high-quality Tallowood floor makes it ideal for dancing. The hall houses the Morisset and Lake District Roll of Honour, commemorating local veterans. Over the years, it has hosted various community events, including picture shows, wedding receptions, balls, parties, plays, and school presentations. The hall remains a central hub for the Morisset community, serving as a venue for numerous organizations and events.
