Mooramong Homestead, built in the early 1860s and remodeled in 1938, reflects the lifestyle of Donald 'Scobie' Mackinnon and his Hollywood star wife, Claire Adams. The homestead, located on a working farm near Skipton, is adorned with family photographs, furniture, and art deco objects, evoking memories from the 1930s to the 1960s. The 600-acre nature reserve is home to kangaroos, swamp wallabies, and various birds, including brolgas and wedge-tailed eagles. Visitors can enjoy self-guided walks, explore extensive gardens, and relax in the bird hide overlooking the dam.
