Moonee is a coastal locality in New South Wales, Australia, situated within the Central Coast Council and City of Lake Macquarie local government areas. Predominantly unpopulated, the area is largely encompassed by the Munmorah State Conservation Area, offering pristine natural landscapes and a tranquil environment. To the west lies the decommissioned Moonee Colliery, a historical site reflecting the region's mining heritage.
