Montumana, TAS

Montumana is a rural locality in Tasmania's North-West region, approximately 24 kilometers west of Wynyard. As of the 2016 census, it has a population of 67 residents. The area is characterized by its gentle undulating red basalt land, making it suitable for various farming activities, including livestock and fodder production. The Detention River forms a small part of the northern boundary, and Route A2 (Bass Highway) runs through from east to north, providing access to the locality.
