It hosts the largest concentration of nesting marine turtles on the eastern Australian mainland, including the most substantial loggerhead turtle population in the South Pacific region. Visitors can explore the Mon Repos Turtle Centre, which offers interactive displays and the Turtle Tales Immersive Experience, providing insights into the turtles' lifecycle and conservation efforts. From November to March, guided Turtle Encounter tours allow guests to witness nesting and hatching turtles on the beach at night. The park also features walking and cycling tracks, such as the Turtle trail, and diverse habitats like mangroves and rock pools, making it a haven for nature enthusiasts.
