Mollymook Beach stretches two kilometers along the New South Wales South Coast, from Bannister Point in the north to the southern headland where the Mollymook Golf Club is situated. Both ends of the beach are patrolled seasonally, ensuring safe swimming conditions. The southern end features the Mollymook Surf Life Saving Club, established in 1933, and a large natural rock pool known as the "Bogey Hole," ideal for families and snorkelers. The beach is popular for surfing, with the southern reef offering excellent conditions. Dolphins are frequently spotted frolicking in the surf, adding to the beach's charm. Grassy reserves behind the beach provide perfect spots for picnics and relaxation.
