The Minmi Courthouse, established in the late 1800s, is a historic venue located at 40 Church Street, Minmi, NSW 2287. Originally built on land gifted by 'Coal Baron' John Brown, it served as a government-owned courthouse until the 1950s. The property retains its original exercise yard and three gaol cell doors, with two cells converted into a commercial kitchen when a fine dining restaurant opened in 1992. The venue has been restored to its original paintwork and now operates as The Minmi Courthouse Restaurant, offering a unique dining experience in a historic setting.
