The Minchinbury Winery Heritage Walk offers a captivating journey through the remnants of a once-thriving vineyard and cellar complex. Established in 1870 by Dr. Charles McKay, the winery gained fame for its champagne, with the first release in 1908. Visitors can explore the surviving winemaking buildings, grapevines, a massive chimney, and an old honeycomb well, providing a glimpse into the area's past. The walk also features the Kalamata Grove Walkway, an olive tree-lined avenue that served as the original driveway to the Minchinbury cellars. At the top of the grove, the old entrance gate stands as a testament to the site's rich history.
