Migrant Resource Centre Tasmania

Located at 2/1A Anfield Street in Glenorchy, the Migrant Resource Centre Tasmania (MRC Tas) is dedicated to supporting and empowering migrants and refugees to settle and live fulfilling lives in Tasmania. Through effective, targeted, and meaningful services, MRC Tas offers a range of programs, including the Humanitarian Settlement Program, which assists new arrivals in integrating into Australian life by building skills and knowledge for self-reliance and active community participation. Additionally, MRC Tas provides resources such as the Multicultural Kitchen, offering healthy eating and nutrition information tailored for culturally diverse communities. The centre also collaborates with the University of Tasmania to strengthen the evidence base supporting best practices when working with people from refugee and migrant backgrounds.
