Established in 1983, Midway Point Neighbourhood House is a community-driven organization located at 34 Hoffman Street, Midway Point, Tasmania. Built from mud bricks by local residents, it serves as a welcoming space offering a variety of programs and activities, including playgroups, dance classes, Tai Chi, community barbecues, computer training, darts, and cooking classes. The center also features a community garden for all to enjoy. Operating Monday through Friday from 9 am to 4 pm, it provides food assistance to those in need without eligibility requirements. The mission is to create a safe, well-resourced environment that enhances the well-being of community members and their families.
