Midkin Gin

Midkin Gin, located near Ashley, NSW, is a significant cotton ginning facility serving the local agricultural community. Established in the 1980s, it processes cotton from surrounding farms, contributing to the region's economy. The facility has a capacity to out-turn more than 200,000 bales per annum. In 2019, Midkin Gin was sold by Auscott to a joint venture involving Australian Food and Fibre and a foreign investor, ensuring ongoing employment and maintaining its role in the local community.
