Metropolitan Colliery, located in Helensburgh, NSW, is an underground mine producing coking, PCI, and thermal coal. Coal is transported via rail to the Port Kembla Coal Terminal for domestic and international markets. Established in 1887, it is one of Australia's longest-running coal mining operations.
