Merry Garth Garden is a 2.5-hectare oasis nestled in Mount Wilson, New South Wales, offering a serene blend of temperate rainforest and meticulously curated plantings. Established in 1978 by Keith and Libby Raines, the garden showcases a diverse collection of cold-climate plants, including Himalayan magnolias, maples, camellias, and rhododendron hybrids. Visitors can explore expansive sunny beds adorned with alpines, bulbs, and weeping maples, as well as shaded woodland areas featuring hydrangeas, azaleas, and hostas. A small nursery provides enthusiasts with a selection of rare plants propagated from the garden. Open every Wednesday and select weekends in April and May, Merry Garth Garden offers a tranquil retreat for nature lovers.
