Established in 1927, the Merriwa Country Women's Association (CWA) is a vital part of the local community, offering support and camaraderie to women in the area. Their rooms, located at 159 Bettington Street, serve as a hub for monthly meetings, special events, and community functions. During the annual Festival of the Fleeces in June, the CWA provides a welcoming space for visitors to relax and enjoy homemade soups, teas, cappuccinos, and scones. The rooms are also available for hire for private and community events.
