Housed in a 1905 general store and residence, the Merrigum & District Historical & Education Society Museum showcases approximately 3,000 items, including agricultural machinery, household artifacts, and a unique collection of photographs by L.L. Pitts, capturing Merrigum's life between 1900 and 1928. Exhibits are displayed in period settings, such as bedrooms and kitchens, and include a wash house, blacksmith shop, machinery shed, mud brick dairy, and horseworks. The museum hosts an annual Heritage Day in April, featuring live demonstrations of pioneering skills and crafts.
