Housed in a 1905 general store and residence, the Merrigum & District Historical & Education Society Museum showcases approximately 3,000 items, including agricultural machinery, household artifacts, and a unique collection of photographs by L.L. Pitts, capturing Merrigum's life between 1900 and 1928. Exhibits are displayed in period settings, such as bedrooms and kitchens, and include a wash house, blacksmith shop, machinery shed, mud brick dairy, and horseworks. The museum hosts an annual Heritage Day in April, featuring live demonstrations of pioneering skills and crafts. Open by appointment, it offers accessible facilities, parking, and nearby picnic areas.
