Melliodora

Melliodora, located at 16 Fourteenth Street in Hepburn Springs, Victoria, is a renowned permaculture demonstration site. Established in 1985, it showcases sustainable living through its passive solar house, diverse food gardens, orchards, and integrated water systems. The property offers monthly guided tours from September to May, providing insights into permaculture design and sustainable practices. Visitors can also participate in seven-day residential courses to experience permaculture firsthand. The name "Melliodora" is inspired by the indigenous Yellow Box trees (Eucalyptus melliodora) surrounding the property.
