Established on 12 September 2007, Melbourne Shwetambar Jain Sangh (MSJS) is a vibrant community of Jain families and individuals dedicated to promoting Jain philosophy and teachings in Melbourne. The community actively engages in religious and cultural activities, including fortnightly Samayik and Pathshala sessions, as well as annual events like Paryushan, 18 Abhishek, and Dhaja Rohan. A significant milestone is the ongoing construction of a Shikharbandi Derasar (temple) and community centre, utilizing marble sourced from India, with completion anticipated by late 2026.
