McCrossin's Mill, built in 1870, is a meticulously restored three-storey flour mill now serving as a museum, gallery, and function centre. It showcases a diverse range of exhibitions, including a nationally significant collection of Chinese artefacts from the Rocky River Goldfields and a comprehensive display on the legendary bushranger Captain Thunderbolt. The ground floor features nine dramatic paintings depicting Thunderbolt's last day, while the Chaff Shed houses farming equipment, old fire engines, and a steam engine. The venue also offers a beautiful garden setting, making it an ideal location for various functions and events.
