Mathinna Falls, nestled in the Mathinna Falls Forest Reserve approximately 10 kilometers north of Mathinna, Tasmania, features a series of four stunning waterfalls cascading over 100 meters. The first and most accessible waterfall is a 15-minute return walk from the car park along an established bush trail, leading directly to the base of the waterfall. The upper tiers are more challenging to reach, requiring steep scrambles and careful navigation. The reserve offers limited facilities, including a modest parking area, eco-toilets, and picnic tables. Access involves unsealed forestry roads; SUVs or 4WDs are recommended due to road conditions.
