Established in October 1983, Maroota Historic Site spans 33 hectares in the Maroota region of New South Wales. This area is rich in biodiversity, with spring-fed creeks and groundwater sustaining a variety of plant and animal species. The site is also home to significant Aboriginal engravings, reflecting its cultural heritage. Due to its sensitive nature, access is restricted to approved research and cultural activities only.
