Located in the heart of Marong, the Marong Community Hall offers a spacious venue for various events, accommodating up to 200 people. The main hall measures 13.9 x 17.4 meters and features a stage area. Equipped with heating, cooling, a sound system, and a microphone upon request, the hall includes 15 rectangular tables, 10 round tables, and 180 stackable chairs. Accessibility is ensured with a ramped entrance, double doors, well-lit rooms, and an accessible bathroom. A full kitchen, designed by caterers, is available, though only cutlery, cups, and saucers are provided. Ample parking, including disability-accessible spaces near the front entrance, is available. All hirers must have public liability insurance; under certain conditions, the City of Greater Bendigo’s Community Public Liability Insurance policy can provide coverage at no cost for up to $20,000,000 to hirers who do not hold a public liability insurance policy.
