Manilla Heritage Museum

Nestled in the historic "Royce Cottage" at 197 Manilla Street, the Manilla Heritage Museum showcases the rich tapestry of Manilla's past. Established in 1975, it houses the Royce Cottage Collection and the Manilla Community Archives, offering insights into local culture and history. The museum features a General Reference Room with family and community histories, environmental displays, and the Yarramanbully Schoolhouse, a one-room school from 1935. Outdoors, a Memorial Garden honors the Chinese pioneers, and a replica "Platypusary" celebrates Harry Burrell's contributions to animal science.
