The Maltese Association of WA Community Centre, located at 1 May Holman Drive in Bassendean, offers a spacious hall with a parquetry floor and a raised stage area. The venue is equipped with a selection of round and trestle tables, chairs, and reverse cycle air conditioning. A covered outdoor paved area features a gas BBQ, tables, and chairs, making it suitable for private functions, fundraisers, dance groups, exhibitions, special interest groups, and meetings. The centre is conveniently close to Ashfield Train Station. It boasts fully licensed bar facilities and a fully functional overhead projector with a large screen, ideal for training and seminars. The kitchen is well-equipped with a fridge, large gas stove and oven, pie warmer, chip warmer, chip cooker, hot plate, sinks, large urn, and ample bench space. Additional amenities include cutlery, crockery, glassware, tablecloths, bain-marie, and BBQs available for hire. The venue offers seating for up to 200 theatre-style or 120 to 130 function-style. Toilets with disabled access are available, and parking includes 40 bays during the day with a disabled bay, plus street parking available after office hours. Strictly no BYO is permitted.
