Macquarie Correctional Centre

Macquarie Correctional Centre, located in Wuuluman, New South Wales, is a maximum-security facility housing male offenders. Situated adjacent to the Wellington Correctional Centre, it is approximately 354 kilometers northwest of Sydney. The centre comprises 14 buildings, primarily single-storey, and features over 5 kilometers of secure fencing with more than 600 security cameras. Completed in just 54 weeks, it became operational on 15 December 2017. The facility offers a structured daily routine, allowing inmates to engage in work, education, and various programs.
