
Macorna is a small rural locality in Victoria's Gannawarra and Loddon Shires, with a population of 67. Situated approximately 267 kilometers north of Melbourne, it lies on the Yungera railway line, which reached the area in 1884; however, the station closed in 1981. The community is active, featuring an Australian Rules football team in the Golden Rivers Football League, a Pony Club established in 2004, a Landcare group, and a fire station. The area is predominantly agricultural, with Farming Zones covering over 98% of its 133.95 square kilometers.
