Long Plains Recreation Grounds, located at LOT 670 Ridley Rd, Long Plains SA 5501, serves as the home ground for the United Football Club, known as The Tigers. Established in 1964 through the merger of the Long Plains and Dublin Football Clubs, the team competes in the Adelaide Plains Football League. The grounds also host the Long Plains Netball Club, fostering a vibrant sporting community. The venue is situated in the central Adelaide Plains region, encompassing areas from Lower Light to Inkerman/Erith in the north, and from Thompson's Beach/Parham to Owen/Alma in the east.
