Lodge Morning Star Temperance No. 410, established on February 4, 1922, serves the Woy Woy Peninsula community. Originally meeting near the Bay View Hotel, the lodge relocated to the Gosford Masonic Centre in 2007. It convenes on the fourth Monday of each month at 7:00 pm, with installation meetings on the third Saturday of March. The lodge's Volume of the Sacred Law, dating back to 1873 from Scotland, was once owned by Thomas Grieve, a Wesleyan lay preacher. Many members continue to reside on the Peninsula, directing their charitable efforts there.
