Little Douglas

Little Douglas is a tranquil coastal locality on South Australia's Eyre Peninsula, approximately 293 kilometers west of Adelaide and 42 kilometers southwest of Cummins. Overlooking Coffin Bay, it encompasses most of the Horse Peninsula, dividing the bay into halves. The settlement features permanent dwellings along the south side of Little Douglas Bay, complemented by an unpatrolled swimming beach deemed 'least hazardous' by Surf Life Saving Australia. The area is zoned for coastal conservation, low-rise detached dwellings, and aquaculture facilities, fostering a serene and sustainable environment.
