Lithgow Greyhound Racing Club, established in 1928, hosts Saturday afternoon races on a sand surface with a Bramich lure system. The track offers distances of 287m, 506m, 610m, and 706m. Camping facilities and kennels are available for traveling trainers. A kiosk provides hot and cold food and drinks for patrons. In March 2023, a $3 million upgrade was announced to bring the track up to TAB standard, aiming to host 52 TAB meetings annually. The upgrade includes a new 472m two-turn track with four starts of 320m, 410m, 520m, and 600m, larger turn radii, a SafeChase lure system, improved kennels, and enhanced patron facilities.
