The Lithgow City Band, established in 1999, is a vibrant community ensemble dedicated to enriching Lithgow's cultural landscape. Rehearsals are held every Tuesday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at 6 Wylde Street, Lithgow, welcoming new members without prior musical experience. The band actively participates in local events, including the annual Australia Day celebrations in Portland, where they perform alongside other local groups.
