Leongatha Community Garden

Nestled in the heart of Leongatha, the Leongatha Community Garden offers a tranquil retreat for individuals of all ages and gardening abilities. Established in 2014, this vibrant space provides quality individual plots for local residents to cultivate their own fruits, vegetables, and herbs. The garden features a greenhouse, raised garden beds, a community room with a fully equipped kitchen, a playground for children, a toolshed for communal gardening equipment, composting facilities, and a chook house with an enclosed pen. The garden also hosts regular events, including the "Cluck 'n Collect" mini market every Thursday afternoon, offering fresh eggs, organic veggies, preserves, and flowers. Additionally, the "Morning Cuppa @ the Garden" sessions provide members with opportunities to share gardening experiences over a cuppa and a treat. The Leongatha Community Garden is dedicated to supporting the community's food and gardening endeavors, fostering a sense of connection and sustainability.
