Established in 1962, the Lebanese Muslim Association (LMA) is Australia's oldest Islamic non-profit organization, dedicated to serving the diverse needs of the Muslim community. With over 1,000 members and a staff of more than 40, the LMA manages three mosques across New South Wales, including the prominent Lakemba Mosque, one of Australia's largest Islamic centers. The LMA offers a wide range of services, including marriage ceremonies, funeral services, Islamic counseling, and social support programs. Its mission is to foster a positive and sustainable contribution of the Australian Muslim community both locally and globally.
