Lavington Sports Ground, located at 1 Hanna Street, Hamilton Valley, NSW 2641, is a premier sporting precinct in regional Australia. The venue features two full-size oval playing arenas suitable for sports such as cricket and AFL, or three rectangular fields for soccer, rugby league, rugby union, and touch football. Additional facilities include tiered seating for 12,000 spectators, a netball court, lighting on the main field to 500 lux, an electronic scoreboard, coaches’ benches, and a cycling velodrome. The modern function centre offers a semi-commercial kitchen, bar, and function room overlooking the main oval. LSG hosts major sporting events, including Big Bash Cricket, NRL, and AFL exhibition matches, and has been home to many junior sporting stars who have represented their codes at a national level.
