The Launceston Chess Club, a vibrant community of chess enthusiasts, meets every Friday from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Vinnies Hub, 8a Blaydon Street, Kings Meadows, TAS 7249. Open to all skill levels, the club offers a welcoming environment for both beginners and seasoned players. Membership is $5 per night, which includes entry to all club events, membership in the Tasmanian Chess Association, discounted entry to TCA-run events, and an Australian Chess Federation rating. Visitors are always welcome to join the games and experience the camaraderie of the chess community.
