Latham Park

Latham Park, located at 86R Moverly Road in South Coogee, offers a diverse recreational experience for the community. The park features expansive green spaces shaded by mature fig and eucalyptus trees, providing a serene environment. The lower level houses the South Coogee Bowling Club and the Latham Park Tennis Centre, which boasts six synthetic grass courts and two hard courts, catering to both casual players and enthusiasts. The middle level includes a main football field and the Jeffrey Sayle Pavilion, equipped with a clubhouse, toilets, change rooms, and a canteen operating on match days. The upper level features an additional football field. The park is also home to two floodlit sports fields, popular among local rugby clubs for training and matches. Amenities include toilets, litter bins, park seating, and sports field lights. Alcohol restrictions are in place, and golf practice and glass containers are prohibited.
