Nestled 30 minutes north of Hobart, LARK Distillery in Pontville is Tasmania's only working whisky village, set amidst meticulously restored 19th-century buildings. Visitors can explore the historic distillery, participate in guided tours, and sample a range of LARK whiskies and Forty Spotted gin at the cellar door. The property also features a working cooperage, eight bond stores, and the historic stables and homestead. Open daily from 10 am to 4 pm, the distillery offers tours at 12 pm and 2 pm, providing an immersive experience into the art and science of whisky making.
