Located seven kilometers north of Sea Lake, Lake Tyrrell is Victoria's largest salt lake, covering over 20,000 hectares. The viewing platform offers panoramic vistas of the expansive salt crust, which shimmers with pink and purple hues during certain seasons. The area is home to diverse wildlife, including Mallee reptiles, kangaroos, emus, and white-faced chats. Visitors can enjoy unique opportunities to view sunsets, sunrises, and stargazing. The platform is accessible via Baileys Road, with ample parking available. Please note that camping or overnight parking is not permitted.
