Lake Condah mission

Lake Condah Mission, established in 1867, is a significant historical site located near Breakaway Creek, Victoria. The mission comprises bluestone ruins, a reconstructed timber building, and a cemetery, reflecting its rich heritage. It holds deep cultural importance for the Gunditjmara community, serving as a community meeting place, administrative center, and symbol of political struggle. Access to the site is currently restricted and managed by the Gunditjmara Traditional Owners Aboriginal Corporation.
