Lake Albacutya Park, located 12 kilometers north of Rainbow in Victoria's Mallee Region, is a Ramsar-listed wetland of international importance. The park features a 5,850-hectare lake that fills from Lake Hindmarsh during significant rainfall, typically on a 20-year cycle. When full, the lake supports activities such as water skiing, fishing, yabbying, and boating. The surrounding area offers opportunities for four-wheel driving, trail biking, bushwalking, and camping. Facilities include campgrounds at Western Beach, Yaapeet Beach, and O.T.I.T., each equipped with toilets and picnic tables. Dogs are permitted but must be restrained at all times. Access is via a sealed road from Yaapeet to the main camping area, with some tracks suitable only for four-wheel drive vehicles.
