The Bluestone Theatre, located at 28 Hutton Street in Kyneton, Victoria, is a historic 1859 bluestone church that has been thoughtfully refurbished into a 100-seat performance space. It boasts original stained glass windows, lofty ceilings, ornate timber trusses, and a decorative 1880s George Fincham pipe organ. The venue offers a 8x6 meter stage, theatrical curtains, two dressing rooms, and a technical operating position. It is ideal for theatrical productions, music performances, weddings, lectures, and workshops. Managed by the Macedon Ranges Shire Council, the Bluestone Theatre is also home to the Kyneton Theatre Company, which is dedicated to nurturing community talent and providing opportunities for local performers.
