Kuitpo Forest Reserve, established in 1898, spans 3,600 hectares in the South Mount Lofty Ranges, approximately 45 minutes' drive from Adelaide. This community forest offers a variety of recreational activities, including bushwalking, mountain biking, horse riding, and camping. Visitors can enjoy hut-style accommodations at Rocky Creek Hut, Woodcutter's Cottage, and Tinjella Hut, available outside the fire season. The forest also features the Heysen Trail, a popular hiking route, and is home to TreeClimb Kuitpo Forest, an aerial adventure park with tree-top courses and zip lines.
