Kontiki Cultural Women Empowerment, located at Sunshine Plaza, 324/328 Hampshire Road, Sunshine VIC 3020, is a not-for-profit charity dedicated to empowering women and youth from refugee and migrant backgrounds. Founded in April 2013 by Charles and Francess Sesay, the organization offers a culturally safe space for individuals of all ages to connect, develop skills, and achieve financial independence. Through artistic fashion designs, including Gara and Batik tie-dye techniques, Kontiki provides training programs that foster self-sufficiency and community engagement. Operating Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Kontiki is committed to promoting unity, peace, and the fulfillment of every individual's potential.
